OUR STORY
A personal search
Corneliastreet began with a simple search for the right rug.
After moving with her family, Fabiane spent weeks looking for a rug that felt timeless, modern and made to last.
During this search she discovered contemporary Oushak rugs and the craftsmanship behind them. Her first custom rug was hand-knotted in Bhadohi, India — one of the world’s centers of traditional rug making.
What started as a personal project soon became Corneliastreet: a collection of rugs designed to bring lasting beauty into modern homes.

Meet Fabiane
Fabiane is guided by a deep appreciation for interiors, natural materials, and the subtle impact a well-balanced space can have on everyday life.
Her work is shaped by a background in both design and fashion, bringing a refined sense for color, texture, and composition to each piece, along with a natural sensitivity for how spaces feel and function.
Now based in South Carolina, Fabiane lives with her husband and their three young sons, having moved there in the summer of 2025. Life at home is lively, full, and often beautifully chaotic — an experience that has shaped her understanding of how spaces are truly lived in.
It is this perspective that informs her work: creating rugs that bring calm and balance, while being made to withstand everyday life. Pieces designed not just for how a home looks, but for how it feels and functions.
